Building a Dream – Keeping a Promise

by Swanna Champlin, Executive Director

In 1983, a few families came together to create a L’Arche community, a place where their adult children with intellectual disabilities could have a lifelong home after they were no longer alive to care for them. Today, with the breaking of ground that dream and promise will be fully realized.

All of us in the L’Arche Boston North community are so excited to share with you, our friends and supporters,  the first step in the construction of a fully handicapped accessible five-bedroom home to provide for the aging needs our core members.

L'Arche Boston North footings set the foundation for the community's new home.
